Graduation of ECCO’s Global Trainees

Wednesday 19 August, ECCO’s Global trainees from the classes of 2012 and 2013 graduated at a special ceremony at headquarters in Bredebro.  The group comprised 5 EITE, 2 Specialists, 6 Graduates and 2 Design trainees, from a broad range of disciplines.

The trainees have all experienced real job rotations around the world, working across different areas of the ECCO value chain and are now ready to take on their new roles within ECCO, ensuring that ECCO has a strengthened people pipeline for the future.

“This is just the beginning.  We will continue to follow your progress as you take on new challenges.  And, with your commitment, increasing knowledge and, let’s not forget, passion, I expect to see many of you experiencing further successes in the years to come, making your own contribution to the further success of ECCO globally,” Ronnie Southerton, Head of Global Trainee Programmes said at the graduation ceremony.

“Being on the trainee programme has been a very positive experience from start to finish.  All of us have benefitted from understanding and working in ECCO’s many different business units across the globe - understanding the challenges and pressures experienced within different areas and cultures,” says Andrew Smith, EITE trainee now joining ECCO's retail division, KRM:

“It has also been a fantastic opportunity to build and strengthen my network.  It is true when it’s said that ECCO is a small world with a family feel: I’m always getting to interact with and work alongside people I’ve met along the way, regardless of location or culture.”
